Weaver's growth since the previous season has been nothing short of remarkable, and his potential for further development remains exceptionally high. During practice, Weaver's basketball IQ and decision-making skills were particularly impressive. He exhibited remarkable comfort in his role as a low post connector, displaying the ability to make rapid, precise decisions and consistently finding his perimeter targets with pinpoint accuracy. Furthermore, Weaver showcased his finesse around the rim when playing with his back to the basket, featuring an almost indefensible mini hook shot over his left shoulder, a significant advantage for a 6'10" player. While his three-point attempts were limited, his fluid mechanics were evident when he sank a shot from the top of the arc, suggesting the capability to become a reliable threat from beyond the arc. Weaver's potential is undoubtedly exciting and worth monitoring closely as he continues to refine his skills.
